You Can
Throwing conventions that restrict the creation, using materials free of charge and easy access, born Paitingcans, an open collaborative art project, created by Confusion Group. This initiative aim to encourage the use of this medium, whose use in the everyday is limited for the time of the consumption, for the creation and dissemination of independent art.

Danos la Lata
Desechando convencionalismos que limiten la creación, utilizando materiales sin coste y de fácil acceso, nace Paitingcans, un proyecto artístico de colaboración abierta, creado por Confusion Group, con el que esperamos que nos des la lata. Esta iniciativa pretende impulsar la utilización de este soporte, cuya función en lo cotidiano se limita al momento del consumo, para la creación y divulgación del arte independiente.

SUBMISSION / PRESENTACIÓN

Use the can as a blank canvas, express yourself on it, and send it to us. Just follow the specification:
Keep the “easy open” for hanging it.
The perimeter of the can is the limit.
Do not use filled cans, it must be crushed.

You can be part of this project as individual or as group, from any field, from anywhere of the world.

Deadline: your painting cans will be accepted until December 31th, 2008.

What you get for? Your painting cans will be part of the digital gallery in paintingcans.com with you contact details, and the price. If you work is sold you receive 70 % of the price you decided.

Also it will be part of an art goup show in Madrid (Spain) and published in a book that you will receive a copy. We can not guaranty that your work will be selected for the book, please accept our apologises if it is not published.

The artist will be paid by Paypal (if you do not yet have a Paypal account, get one free at www.paypal.com).

The artwork that the artist submitted to paintingcans.com remain the property of the artist, on the condition that paintingcans.com has exclusive rights to print the works in a book. We are not responsible for the content submitted by the artist.

Utiliza la lata como un lienzo en blanco, expresate en élla, y envianosla. Ten en cuenta las siguientes especificaciones:
Mantener el "abre fácil" para colgar.
El perímetro de la lata es el límite.
No utilices latas llenas, deben de estar aplastadas.

Puedes fomar parte de este proyecto como individuo o colectivo, utilizando los medios que desees y desde cualquier lugar del mundo.

Plazo: tus paintingcans se aceptarán hasta el 31 de Diciembre del 2008.

Que obtienes? Tu artwork será parte de la galería digital en paintingcans.com donde figuraran datos de contacto y el precio. Si se vende el trabajo recibiras el 70% del precio que hayas establecido.

Todas las latas formarán parte de una muestra colectiva en Madrid (España) y aquellas que sean seleccionadas serán publicación en un libro. Acepta nuestra disculpa si tu trabajo no sale publicado. Si el trabajo es seleccionado recibirás una copia del libro.

El dinero sera remitido por medio de Paypal (si todavía no dispones de una cuenta, consigue una gratis en www.paypal.com).

Las latas pintadas que el artista presentó a paintingcans.com son propiedad del artista. Paintingcans.com se reserva el derecho de imprimir la obra en un libro. No nos hacemos responsables por el contenido presentado por el artista
